Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the progress of Tenerife goalkeeper Carlos Abad-Hernandez.
The 19-year-old only made his first professional start in November, but has been on the radar of a number of top clubs for some time.
According to AS, Real Madrid are looking to bolster their youth academy and see Abad-Hernandez as an ideal signing in the winter transfer window.
It is understood that, should a deal take place in January, the stopper would be loaned back to Tenerife for the remainder of the season.
Abad-Hernandez has a contract with Tenerife until 2016.
