Report: Marco Asensio to leave Real Madrid on loan

A report claims that 19-year-old attacker Marco Asensio will be allowed to leave Real Madrid on loan this summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to allow Marco Asensio to leave the Bernabeu on loan this summer, which is expected to spark a scramble for his services.

Los Blancos secured the 19-year-old's signature in the January transfer window, but allowed him to remain on loan at Mallorca for the rest of the 2014-15 season.

The Spanish Under-21 international has since made the move to Madrid, however, and has been involved in his new club's preparations for the upcoming campaign.

While Asensio is believed to have impressed the coaching staff, according to AS, Rafael Benitez is keen for the attacker to continue his development away from the club, where regular first-team football will be offer.

A host of Spanish clubs are said to be monitoring proceedings.
