Real Madrid plot Micah Richards bid?

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a bid for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

The 24-year-old is contracted to the English champions until the summer of 2015 after signing a new deal extension last August.

Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho is a long-term admirer of Richards and is willing to offer City £20m for his services, according to the Daily Star.

Mourinho is believed to have attempted to sign Richards for Chelsea during his three-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
