Manchester City confirm Micah Richards deal

Manchester City have confirmed that Micah Richards has signed a new four-year contract extension at the club.

The 23-year-old defender put pen to paper on his first professional contract with City back in 2005.

"Manchester City is delighted to announce that Micah Richards has signed a new four-year contract with the Club," said a statement on the Blues's official website.

Manchester City face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane today (Sunday) and are looking to return to the top of the league.
