Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly considering a swap deal that would see striker Edinson Cavani leave the Parc des Princes and be replaced by Real Madrid's Karim Benzema.

Uruguayan forward Cavani became PSG's all-time leading goalscorer on Saturday, netting his 157th goal for the Parisians in a win over Montpellier.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, however, the striker's fractious relationship with Brazilian teammate Neymar could lead to Cavani's departure from the capital at the end of the season.

The source adds that, should Cavani's exit be confirmed, PSG boss Unai Emery wants out-of-form Madrid man Karim Benzema to replace him.

Benzema could be one of several players to leave the Bernabeu in a potential overhaul of the Los Blancos squad planned by manager Zinedine Zidane.
