Mesut Ozil plays down Liverpool link

Real Madrid forward Mesut Ozil has remained quite over speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool.

The 23-year-old is part of the team that has helped Los Blancos reach the top of the La Liga table.

"I play in Madrid and I am very happy there," Ozil told DHA. "I do not want to say anything else."

Madrid resume their league duties after the winter break at home to Granada on Sunday, January 8.
