Real Madrid transfer news: Endrick outlines exit stance as Los Blancos 'open' door to loan move

Endrick outlines exit stance as Real Madrid 'open' door to loan move

Real Madrid forward Endrick is reportedly determined to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu despite being linked with a move away this summer.

Los Blancos agreed a €72m (£62.6m) deal with Palmeiras in 2022 for Endrick to officially join the club in the summer of 2024.

After arriving last summer, Endrick went on to experience a tough first season at Real Madrid, starting just eight of his 37 competitive appearances.

Endrick's difficult campaign was compounded when he suffered a hamstring injury in the final game of the season against Real Sociedad, which ultimately ruled him out of the Club World Cup in the USA.

Unfortunately for Endrick, his absence from the Club World Cup took away a chance for him to impress new Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso

Endrick wants Real Madrid stay

There appears to be some doubt as to whether the Brazilian will be at the club for Alonso's first season in charge, having been linked with a potential loan departure this summer.

According to ESPN, Endrick's 'priority' is to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu rather than consider a loan exit.

The 19-year-old is keen to follow in the footsteps of Vinicius Junior and Arda Guler, who remained at the club after initially struggling to find their best form when they first arrived at the club.

Endrick seems to be focusing on his injury recovery, so that he can get back on the pitch to prove his worth to Alonso.

However, the same ESPN report claims that Real Madrid are willing to loan him out before the transfer window shuts later this summer.

Real Madrid open to Endrick loan exit

Alonso is likely to utilise a formation that uses two forwards, with Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe expected to be regular starters in the frontline.

Endrick would be one of the backup options, but he appears to have slipped down the pecking order following Gonzalo Garcia's emergence at the Club World Cup.

As a result, Real Madrid feel that the 'best option' for Endrick would be to head out on loan to gain regular game time.

A loan departure may also be the best avenue for the youngster to impress Carlo Ancelotti ahead of next year's World Cup.

Ancelotti, who is now head coach of the Brazil national team, will surely need to see Endrick playing regular football at a high level for him to consider the striker as a viable option for the 2026 tournament.
