Gareth Bale abused by Real Madrid supporters?

Gareth Bale has reportedly received criticism from Real Madrid supporters on his return to pre-season training.

Despite having spent a relatively successful six years at the Bernabeu, the 29-year-old does not feature in the future plans of head coach Zinedine Zidane.

However, as it stands, Bale is maintaining that he has little desire to leave the club, aware that he still has three years remaining on his lucrative contract.

According to AS, the Wales international's stance resulted in him being verbally abused by a number of fans at the club's training ground on Monday.

The report adds that one call of "ungrateful" was directed at the attacker, while other members of the squad were said to have received a positive reception.
