Ancelotti rules out Courtois swoop

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed reports that he could make a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer.

Reports emerging from Spain recently had suggested that the Italian coach could capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding the keeper's long-term future at Stamford Bridge by swooping for the Belgium international.

Although Ancelotti admits that he is fond of Courtois - who is on loan at Atletico Madrid - the 54-year-old insists that he is well stocked with options in the form of Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez.

"No, no. I think that we have two very good goalkeepers, so we don't need another," he told reporters. "Of course he's a very good goalkeeper, but in this position we're well covered."

Courtois, who will return to West London in the summer, is contracted to the Blues until 2016.
