How Real Madrid could line up against Rayo Vallecano

How Real Madrid could line up against Rayo Vallecano

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti could introduce Fran Garcia and Eduardo Camavinga into his starting side for Sunday's La Liga clash with Rayo Vallecano.

Aurelien Tchouameni is out for at least the next six weeks due to a broken foot, with the midfielder picking up the injury during last weekend's 2-1 win over Barcelona.

Camavinga is likely to be the player to benefit, with the Frenchman expected to start at the base of the midfield, while Ferland Mendy, who started at left-back in El Clasico, has a slight muscular problem.

As a result, Garcia could be given the nod at left-back, but there are unlikely to be any other changes from the side that started against Barcelona.

Luka Modric is again expected to be on the bench alongside Joselu, with Rodrygo likely to feature in the final third of the field alongside Vinicius Junior.

Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois remain long-term absentees for Real Madrid due to serious knee injuries, while Dani Ceballos remains out with a muscular issue, but Arda Guler has been named in the squad.

Jude Bellingham scored twice for Real Madrid against Barcelona last weekend to win the match, and the England international will again operate as the number 10 this weekend.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, F Garcia; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Bellingham; Vinicius, Rodrygo
