How Eibar could line up against Real Madrid

How Eibar could line up against Real Madrid

Eibar will be looking to boost their La Liga survival hopes when they travel to the Spanish capital on Saturday afternoon to take on the champions Real Madrid.

Jose Luis Mendilibar's side, who are currently 18th in the table, two points from the safety of 17th position, are again expected to be without the services of five players through injury this weekend.

Yoshinori Muto, Jose Angel, Pedro Bigas, Roberto Correa and Edu Exposito were all absent from the team's 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao before the international break.

Mendilibar is expected to have the same squad to choose from against Madrid, and it would not be a surprise to see the same XI sent onto the field due to their performance at San Mames.

Pedro Leon and Takashi Inui are perhaps the two players pushing hardest to feature from the start, but Kike, who was on the scoresheet at San Mames, should retain his position in the attack.

Kevin Rodrigues and Aleix Garcia are also likely to feature in the final third of the field, while there will be another start for Bryan Gil, who has been in strong form since joining on loan from Sevilla.

Gil made his debut for Spain during the international break, and the 20-year-old will now be looking to make a positive impression against the reigning champions on Saturday afternoon.

Eibar possible starting lineup: Dmitrovic; Pozo, Oliveira, Arbilla, Rafa; Alvarez, Diop; Gil, Garcia, Rodrigues; Kike
