Cristiano Ronaldo: "Winning is my favourite word"

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his delight after picking up three awards at the Spanish Football League gala in Madrid last night.

The Real Madrid attacker was named the Best Striker and Best Player of the 2013-14 La Liga campaign, in addition to winning the Best Goal of the Season for his strike against Valencia last term.

"Winning is my favourite word and this is a motivation to keep on working harder and better," said Ronaldo at the gala.

"We've shown a very good level of play and it's true that it's an honour for me to take away these awards. Now we need to continue like this until the end of the season."

Ronaldo has scored 21 goals in 14 games for Madrid this season.
