Didier Drogba: 'Jose Mourinho still texts me'

Didier Drogba has revealed that he is still in regular contact with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The pair worked together at Stamford Bridge for three full seasons between 2004 and 2007.

Drogba now plays for Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua, while Mourinho is in charge of La Liga champions Real Madrid.

"The problem with Jose is he still doesn't understand there is a time difference and he keeps sending texts when I'm asleep," said Drogba.

Shanghai time is seven hours ahead of Madrid.
