Carlo Ancelotti hails "perfect" Toni Kroos

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has lavished praise on Toni Kroos following last night's 2-0 win over Sevilla in the European Super Cup.

The Italian branded the summer signing's performance "perfect" before revealing that Los Blancos are "more confident" than at the same stage of last season.

"Toni Kroos's performance was perfect," he told reporters after the game.

"He was quick and clear in everything he did. The new players showed their quality.

"We're more confident than we were this time last year - and that's rubbed off on the team."

Kroos arrived at the Bernabeu from Bayern Munich last month.
