Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid injury, suspension list vs. Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they continue their 2021-22 campaign away to Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night.

Carlo Ancelotti's side saw a 10-game winning run come to an end on Sunday when they were held to a goalless draw by Cadiz at the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos are currently top of the La Liga table, six points clear of second-placed Sevilla, while they are now 14 clear of reigning champions Atletico Madrid.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Athletic, who are currently ninth in the table.

Dani Carvajal was absent against Cadiz last time out due to a muscular problem, and the defender remains a major doubt for Real Madrid's final match of the year.
