Sergio Ramos "very happy" with El Clasico win

Sergio Ramos reveals his delight following Real Madrid's 3-1 El Clasico win over Barcelona.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has praised his side following last night's 3-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clasico.

Los Blancos fell behind in the capital, but responded with three goals to claim a crucial win at the Bernabeu.

"I'm very happy. The team was great in all areas and in all aspects, despite the goal conceded," Ramos told AS.

"We had very clear ideas and we dominated. Not only when we had the ball but on the counter-attack too. It was a very complete performance.

"Football is a game of stages and you have to know how to react. We managed to do that and we coped. We didn't only play on the break but we entered their half, had possession and they're not used to that and we hurt them."

The result moved Madrid into second spot in La Liga, just one point behind leaders Barcelona.
