Real Madrid lineup vs. Barcelona: Predicted XI for Carlo Ancelotti's side in El Clasico

Will Mbappe make it? How Real Madrid could line up against Barcelona

Real Madrid are confident that leading goalscorer Kylian Mbappe will recover from an ankle injury in time to start Saturday's Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

The France international picked up an ankle issue during the recent Champions League clash with Arsenal, and he has missed the team's last two matches, although one of those was through suspension.

Mbappe was again absent against Getafe on Wednesday night, but the forward is in the squad for this contest and is set to start.

Eduardo Camavinga, though, has been ruled out of the match with the problem that he suffered against Getafe on Wednesday night; the midfielder has since been diagnosed with a complete tear of his left adductor tendon, which means that his campaign is over.

Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are also still out due to long-term knee injuries, but Ferland Mendy is back in the squad after a recent absence, while David Alaba has also been cleared despite suffering a muscular issue last time out.

Fran Garcia is set to be given the nod at left-back from the first whistle, while Ancelotti confirmed during his post-match press conference on Wednesday that Rodrygo, who has faced recent criticism, will be in the starting XI.

Arda Guler scored against Getafe on Wednesday, but the Turkey international is expected to drop back to the bench alongside Endrick.

There remains concern surrounding Jude Bellingham and his long-term shoulder problem, but the England international will return to the starting XI against Barcelona, having been rested from the start against Getafe.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Vazquez, Asencio, Rudiger, F Garcia; Tchouameni, Valverde; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Vinicius; Mbappe
