Video: Gareth Bale abused by Real Madrid fans following Champions League exit

Gareth Bale was subjected to insults from Real Madrid supporters as he left the Bernabeu following his side's Champions League exit on Wednesday evening.

The Welshman, who has struggled to get fans onside in Spain this season, missed a string of chances in last night's semi-final, which was won 3-2 on aggregate by Juventus.

The 25-year-old received jeers from the crowd during the match, but he was also verbally abused while leaving the stadium's car park in his vehicle.

While driving away, a handful of fans shouted Spanish insults, including "cabron" and "hijo de puta".

Rumours have emerged overnight suggesting that Bale is close to agreeing a summer move to Manchester United.
