Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has insisted that his team will be in full flow by the time that their Champions League last-16 tie rolls around.

Los Blancos ended their group-stage campaign with a 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

The Spanish champions have been far from their best in the opening months of the 2017-18 campaign, however, with Barcelona holding an eight-point lead over the Madrid giants in La Liga.

Zidane has accepted that his team are currently struggling for consistency, but the Frenchman has insisted that the European Cup holders 'will be fine' by February.

"I am convinced that by February, we'll be fine. After the break, we'll be okay," Zidane told reporters. "We are looking forward to the draw on Monday even though a difficult opponent is coming. I don't care what team we play, this doesn't take place until February."

Real Madrid will now switch their attention to La Liga as they prepare to welcome high-flying Sevilla on Saturday afternoon.
