Arjen Robben: 'I expected more from Real Madrid'

Bayern Munich striker Arjen Robben says that he expected more from Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Arjen Robben has admitted that he "expected more" from Real Madrid during the first leg of Bayern Munich's Champions League semi-final against the Spanish side.

Karim Benzema scored in the first half at the Bernabeu to give the La Liga team a one-goal advantage ahead of next week's second leg at the Allianz Arena.

The striker told reporters: "I expected more from Real. I expected them to come storming out of the gates, but instead they waited and allowed us to run the game. That surprised me."

The final takes place in Lisbon next month.
