Report: Cristiano Ronaldo eyeing Borussia Dortmund return

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo will return to action against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, according to a report.

Cristiano Ronaldo has targeted a return to action against Borussia Dortmund next week after taking part in training.

The Real Madrid forward, who missed Los Blancos' 4-0 victory against Real Sociedad on Saturday night, underwent a recovery session behind closed doors today as part of his routine, according to Spanish publication Marca.

Ronaldo sustained a knock to his knee in the first-leg clash at the Bernabeu, an injury which manager Carlo Ancelotti described as being "a minor annoyance".

Madrid currently lead the quarter-final tie 3-0.
