Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has praised Cristiano Ronaldo following Los Blancos' 2-0 win over Roma in the last-16 stage of the Champions League on Wednesday night.
A tight first period saw neither side register a shot on target, but second-half goals from Ronaldo and Jese Rodriguez helped the Spanish side to a first-leg win.
Navas has paid tribute to "the best in the world" Ronaldo, who registered his 12th Champions League goal of the season in Rome.
"Having the best in the world is key, it helped us take that step of scoring and moving forward in the game," Navas told AS.
Real Madrid are seeking their 11th European Cup this season.
