Age Hareide: 'We can surprise Real Madrid'

Malmo boss Age Hareide says that his team can surprise Real Madrid when the pair meet in the group stages of the Champions League on Wednesday.

Malmo boss Age Hareide has claimed that Real Madrid "know nothing" about his team ahead of their Champions League clash on Wednesday.

Real Madrid currently top Group A following a 4-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk last time out, but Malmo were beaten 2-0 at Paris Saint-Germain.

Los Blancos will enter the clash in Sweden as the firm favourites to triumph, but Hareide has said that his team can surprise the Spanish giants.

"They know nothing about us and it's difficult to change that. They have three points and they're only human," Marca quotes Hareide as saying.

"It's hard playing against Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu but the fans there are far away. They're very close in Malmo and that will surprise Madrid."

Malmo, who are the only Nordic club to have reached a European Cup final, are the current Swedish champions.
