Carlo Ancelotti: Pepe "fine" for Madrid derby

Pepe will be fit to face Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night, according to Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Pepe will be available for Tuesday's night Champions League quarter-final clash against rivals Atletico Madrid.

The centre-back appeared to pick up an injury during yesterday's 3-0 win over Eibar at the Bernabeu.

However, when asked if he had any concerns over the 32-year-old's fitness, Ancelotti expressed his confidence that the defender will be "fine".

"He didn't have any problems in the dressing room. He got a knock, but he'll be fine for Tuesday," Ancelotti told the club's official website.

Pepe has only recently returned to action following a stint on the sidelines with a thigh complaint.
