Former Reading defender Nicky Shorey has reportedly joined Brighton & Hove Albion on trial.
The experienced full-back, who left Reading at the end of last season, is available on a free transfer this summer.
According to Sky Sports News, Shorey will spend this week training with the Championship club in the hope of securing a permanent contract.
It is understood that a number of Championship sides are also monitoring proceedings.
