Reading close on Chris Gunter signing?

Reading are reportedly closing on a deal for Nottingham Forest defender Chris Gunter.

The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with Swansea City, has emerged as one of the most talented defenders outside of the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports News, the Welshman is keen to try his hand in the Premier League, and a deal between the two parties could soon be agreed.

Gunter has 37 international caps to his name.
