Reading 'pursue' loan move for Norwich City striker Gary Hooper

Reading have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Norwich City striker Gary Hooper on a season-long loan.

Despite Hooper being linked with a move back to the Premier League after the Canaries' relegation last season, Reading feel that they can lure him to Berkshire, according to Football League World.

The 26-year-old is yet to play for Norwich this season after scoring six goals in 32 top-flight appearances last term.

Reading boss Nigel Adkins managed Hooper during the pair's time at Scunthorpe United.
