Pavel Pogrebnyak leaves Reading for Dynamo Moscow

Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak leaves the Championship club after three years to join Dynamo Moscow in his native Russia.

Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has left Reading after three years to sign for Russian club Dynamo Moscow.

The Russia international joined the Royals on a four-year deal in July 2012 after leaving Fulham and scored 28 goals in 106 appearances for the club.

Reading boss Steve Clarke told the official website: "In the second half of last season Pavel was a key player in my team and made a vital contribution.

"His work rate and commitment to Reading FC were a big plus for me. Now he has the opportunity of a great move back to Russia, I can only thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future."

The Championship side face a trip to Brentford this Saturday.
