Former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Dean Wilkins has joined Reading as first-team coach.
The 50-year-old previously worked at Southampton with current Royals boss Nigel Adkins.
"I'm delighted we've been able to bring Dean in to join us," Adkins told the club's official website. "He is an excellent coach and I'm sure he can help keep improving our players."
Wilkins is the younger brother of former England international Ray Wilkins.
