West Ham United make Nikica Jelavic contact

West Ham United are reported to have made contact with Rangers over a potential move for striker Nikica Jelavic.

The Croatian forward, who has scored 14 league goals this season, has been linked with a move away from the SPL champions.

It is now thought that West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has spoken to Rangers owner Craig Whyte, according to Sky Sports News.

However, a bid has not been made for the 26-year-old.
