Rangers 'demanding £14m for Alfredo Morelos'

Scottish champions Rangers have reportedly set striker Alfredo Morelos's transfer price tag at £14m, amid interest from Porto.

The 25-year-old was an instrumental part of Steven Gerrard's side last season as the Glasgow club ended their rivals Celtic's nine-year reign as champions.

Morelos scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 25 league appearances during the 2020-21 campaign, but his future at Ibrox is in doubt.

According to the Daily Record, the Colombian international is in advanced talks with Porto and the striker is enthusiastic about a move to Portugal.

Morelos arrived in Glasgow from HJK Helsinki for £1m in 2017, with the Finish club agreeing a 10% sell-on clause with Rangers, and Morelos was close to leaving the Scottish club last summer after Lille made a bid.

Morelos has scored 94 goals and produced 43 assists in 182 games for the club.
