Raith Rovers have knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup following a 2-1 win in this afternoon's last-16 clash at Ibrox.
The hosts threatened just before the half-hour mark as Richard Foster's cross was headed towards goal by Jon Daly, but goalkeeper David McGurn was able to save.
Moments later, Jon Watson headed against the Rangers post from a corner, with the ball rebounding into the arms of Steve Simonsen.
The first half ended goalless, but Raith took the lead minutes after the restart when Ryan Conroy lifted a free kick over the wall and into the corner of the net.
Rangers then levelled proceedings just after the hour, with on-loan Newcastle United midfielder Haris Vuckic latching onto a Kyle Hutton pass before calmly slotting home.
However, the visitors got themselves back in front midway through the second half when Jason Thomson drilled the ball across goal, where Christian Nade was on hand to prod the ball into the net.
With time rapidly running out for Gers, Kris Boyd missed a free header from four yards out following an Andy Murdoch cross.
Ultimately, the Old Firm side could not find an equaliser, leaving Raith to celebrate a famous win and advance to the last eight of the competition.
