Rangers players offer to take wage cuts

The Glasgow Rangers playing squad have agreed to take wage cuts in order to avoid redundancies at Ibrox.

The club's administrators have revealed that the club must save £1m a month to keep stay afloat until a buyer can be found.

Players that earn the highest amount have offered to take a 75% cut, while those in the second bracket will take a 50% cut under the proposal.

Those in the third tier of earners have offered up 25% of their weekly pay.

It is the final offer that the players will make to the administrators, which will be considered tomorrow morning.
