Rangers avoid redundancies?

Rangers' staff have reportedly claimed that there will be no redundancies at the Scottish club.

There were fears that the club's administrators would have to cut playing staff in order to save the required £1m a month in order to keep Ibrox afloat.

It is understood that the stricken club have agreed wage cuts with the majority of the players, which has allowed Rangers to keep their staff employed, according to Sky Sports News.

Senior players including captain Steven Davis, Steven Whittaker, Allan McGregor and Steven Naismith have all accepted 75% wage cuts.
