Tal Ben Haim joins Standard Liege

Belgian side Standard Liege have completed the signing of Tal Ben Haim.

The Israeli defender had been available on a free transfer following his release by Queens Park Rangers.

He had been linked with a host of clubs in England, but the 31-year-old has now decided to continue his career in the Belgian Pro League.

Bel Haim, who has also played for Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, Manchester City, Sunderland, Portsmouth and West Ham United, has signed a two-year contract at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.
