Harry Redknapp brushes off rumours Adel Tarrabt will return to Italy

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has brushed off reports claiming that Adel Taarabt will leave Loftus Road in January.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at AC Milan, but reports have claimed that QPR have given the midfielder the go-ahead to return to Italy in the next transfer window.

In this morning's press conference, Redknapp said: "I know nothing about that. The first thing we need is to get him fit to play.

"He had the green light to leave in the summer but there was no-one. Milan didn't come in for him. He's always had the green light."

Taarabt joined QPR from Tottenham Hotspur in 2010.
