Queens Park Rangers plan bid for Carlos Sanchez?

QPR plan Sanchez bid?

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly identified Carlos Sanchez as a potential transfer target ahead of the new season.

The club are believed to be eager to continue adding new recruits as they prepare for a return to the Premier League, and a move for the Elche midfielder now appears to be a possibility.

According to The Mirror, Redknapp is willing to sanction a £4m bid for Sanchez, who appeared for Colombia at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

The 28-year-old was rumoured to be a target for Everton earlier this summer, but Elche denied that there had been any contact over a proposed transfer.
