Chelsea defender nears Queens Park Rangers move

QPR, Alex discuss personal terms

Chelsea defender Alex has entered into talks with Queens Park Rangers regarding personal terms ahead of his proposed move to Loftus Road, according to Sky Sports News.

QPR have yet to agree a fee with the Blues, who have granted the Brazilian centre-back permission to meet with manager Mark Hughes.

Alex has been available for transfer since December, when Chelsea accepted his request for a move.

The 29-year-old joined Chelsea in 2004 via a loan spell with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
