Esteban Granero: 'I'm staying at Queens Park Rangers'

Granero: 'I'm staying at QPR'

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Esteban Granero has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the club during the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old only joined the R's in the summer from Spanish champions Real Madrid.

However, with QPR yet to win in the Premier League and currently bottom of the table, reports had claimed that Granero was unsettled with life in London and was keen to seal a move back to Spain.

Granero is adamant that all the speculation is wide of the mark.

"I'm not the kind of person to run away when things are not going very good," he told Sky Sports News. "I'd like to be here and to push the team on. I'm going to be here and I'm not going anywhere."

Granero has scored one goal and laid on one assist during his stint so far with the R's.
