Former Queens Park Rangers defender Danny Gabbidon emerges as a reported transfer for a number of Championship clubs.

Former Queens Park Rangers defender Danny Gabbidon has reportedly attracted interest from a host of Championship clubs.

The 32-year-old spent just one season at QPR before being released at the end of the season, but it appears that an immediate return to football is nearing for the Welshman.

Sheffield Wednesday, Watford and Nottingham Forest have all been linked with moves, according to Sky Sports News, while European interest is also reportedly apparent.

Gabbidon has 46 international appearances to his name.
