Shaun Derry to leave Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday?

Experienced midfielder Shaun Derry will reportedly leave Queens Park Rangers this afternoon to take the managerial position at Notts County.

Shaun Derry's contract with Queens Park Rangers will reportedly be terminated this afternoon.

The 35-year-old is still under contract with the R's until next summer, while he is currently on loan at their Championship rivals Millwall.

However, according to PA, the experienced midfielder will hang up his boots on Wednesday in order to form a new management team with Greg Abbott at Notts County.

Derry began his professional career with County, making 93 appearances between 1995 and 1998.
