QPR's Djibril Cisse 'poised to sign for Qatar side Al-Gharafa'

Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse reportedly begins talks with Qatar side Al-Gharafa over a move to the Middle East.

Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse has reportedly begun talks with Qatar side Al-Gharafa over a transfer.

The former Liverpool forward moved to Loftus Road last year from Lazio but has failed to cement a regular spot in the first team.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp revealed earlier this week that the club are open to offloading Cisse if an offer comes along, and it has been reported by Sky Sports News that the Frenchman is in negotiations with the Middle East outfit.

Cisse has made 21 appearances for the R's and netted four goals since his arrival.
