Djibril Cisse flying in for QPR medical

Former Liverpool forward Djibril Cisse is flying to London for a medical with Queens Park Rangers, according to Sky Sports News.

Rangers boss Mark Hughes earlier confirmed interest in the Frenchman, who currently plays in Serie A for Rome outfit Lazio.

The 30-year-old has struggled in Italy since his summer move from Panathinaikos, scoring just once in 17 appearances.

He signed a four-year deal with Lazio but is believed to be interested in a move to the ambitious West London club.
