Persebaya Surabaya 1-2 QPR

Queens Park Rangers came from a goal behind to claim a 2-1 victory from the pre-season encounter against Indonesian side Persebaya Surabaya this afternoon.

The R's fell behind in the 17th minute courtesy of an error from goalkeeper Roberto Green. The former England international squandered possession inside his area, which allowed Fernando Soler to put the home side in front.

QPR responded brightly and levelled up proceedings just seven minutes later. Manchester United loanee Fabio was brought down inside the penalty area and midfielder Adel Taarabt converted from 12 yards.

Play was stopped for several minutes towards the end of the half because of a floodlight failure inside the ground.

The power was restored and Mark Hughes's QPR eventually claimed the winning goal with 67 minutes played. Jamie Mackie played in Bobby Zamora and the centre-forward dispatched the ball into the net from close range.
