Tony Fernandes unhappy with recent criticism

Tony Fernandes has labelled claims that he is looking to sell Queens Park Rangers totally "incorrect".

The QPR chairman has come under fire of late following a turbulent spell for the West London outfit, in which Neil Warnock was re-instated on an interim basis four years after being sacked.

Malaysian tycoon Fernandes has now taken to Twitter to respond to suggestions that he no longer wants to run the club, stating that he is still fully committed to the Rs.

"Much has been said about QPR especially about myself and the owners," he said. "A lot of incorrect statements. No one wants to qpr to do well more than myself and the owners.

"It's sad some of the incorrect statements that's being said. Qpr fans should manage expectations. No club is more transparent than us. Lots and lots been done."

The Hoops are currently 13th in the Championship table after picking up just one win in their last six outings.
