Queens Park Rangers' Harry Redknapp impressed by Richard Dunne

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he has been impressed by Richard Dunne during pre-season.

The veteran defender recently joined the Championship club on a free transfer from Aston Villa.

"I am particularly pleased with Richard Dunne," Redknapp told The Express.

"What a player he has been, three times Manchester City player of the year and another who knows the ropes."

QPR start the new season on Saturday at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
