Queens Park Rangers striker DJ Campbell has revealed that he was happy to make his comeback from injury on Saturday afternoon.
The 30-year-old came off the bench during his side's 1-0 loss to Liverpool after an absence of nearly three months with a broken metatarsal.
"I only got back to full training four days before the game so it was great to be involved," Campbell told the club's official website.
"Obviously I need a bit of time to get my sharpness back because that was my first game in two-and-a-half months, but I enjoyed it."
Campbell has scored one goal for the club since arriving at Loftus Road in August.
