Verratti dismisses talk of Juventus move

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has insisted he has no desire to join Juventus despite speculation linking him with the Italian club.

The 22-year-old joined the reigning Ligue 1 champions from Pescara in 2012 and has become a key part of Laurent Blanc's side.

However, recent rumours have suggested that he may be included in an offer to bring Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to Paris.

"When I signed for PSG, people said I'd run away after two months. Instead, after three years, I'm still here and my son was born in Paris," Verratti told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "It's my second home. Having said that, I still end up eating only in Italian restaurants here.

"I generally don't like exchanges. If a club really wants me, then they'll sign me, that's all. If PSG were to force me to leave in order to make room for Pogba, then that's different.

"In any case, that's certainly not an issue I need consider today. I ignore transfer gossip. If one day PSG didn't want me any more, I would pay more attention."

Verratti has made 80 appearances for PSG, scoring one goal.
