Report: Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return to AC Milan

A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to AC Milan next summer after deciding not to sign a new deal with his current club.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will reportedly return to AC Milan at the end of the season, despite turning down the Italian side last summer.

The Swedish international revealed earlier this month that he rejected the chance to re-join Milan in the most recent transfer window as he targeted one more assault on the Champions League with PSG.

According to Corrierre dello Sport, however, the 34-year-old will not sign a new deal with the French champions as he targets a return to Serie A.

The experienced forward represented Milan between 2010 and 2012, initially on loan from Barcelona, before making the move permanent in 2011.

He scored 56 times in 85 games for the San Siro outfit, helping them lift the Serie A trophy in the 2010-11 season.
