PSG 'priced out of Pogba race'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly out of the running to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba this summer.

Les Parisiens defender Thiago Silva recently revealed that the Ligue 1 champions were interested in signing the French international at the end of the season.

However, Tuttosport claims that the Bianconeri turned down a proposal from PSG to take Pogba in exchange for both Edinson Cavani and Marco Verratti.

It is thought that Juve are holding out for £60m up front if they are to sell the ex-Manchester United player.

That would apparently rule out the French champions, as Financial Fair Play restrictions mean that Laurent Blanc's team will reportedly have only £44m to spend, and any further revenue must be generated by selling one or more of their squad.
